Role Overview We are seeking a
Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist
with 5+ years of experience to support the development of a modern digitalinformation system and its integration with internal and external applications.
This is an
onsite position , working 7.25 hours percalendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday inclusive,excluding breaks, unless otherwise identified.
Scope
Supportthe development and testing of a modern digital information system and itsintegration with internal and external applications.
ApplySenior Systems Testing/QA expertise throughout the assignment.
Prepareappropriate-level test cases for functional/unit testing.
Performfunctional/unit testing and document results.
Assistother parties/groups with their related testing activities, including UserAcceptance Testing (UAT).
Participatein knowledge transfer.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements Mandatory Requirements Quality Assurance Skills
7+years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborativetool to manage defects and change requests and communicate their status toall project participants.
Demonstratedexperience developing test plans, test scripts, and test data, documentingsoftware defects, and tracking resolutions.
Experiencewith User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions.
Goodanalytical and communication skills.
Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
Technical Skills
Knowledgeand experience using automated testing tools and version control systemson one or more platforms.
Demonstratedknowledge and experience across all phases of the Systems Development LifeCycle.
Demonstratedexperience documenting and tracking testing activities usingissue-tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Asana.
Resume Evaluation Criteria QA Skills - 40 Points
Demonstratedexperience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defectsand change requests and communicate status to all project participants.
Technical Skills - 30 Points
Demonstratedexperience documenting and tracking testing using issue-tracking systemssuch as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Asana.
Business Skills - 25 Points
Demonstratedexperience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effectiveresolution of defects and completion of change request managementactivities.
Public Sector Experience - 5 Points
Previousexperience working in Government or Public Sector organizations.
