QA Tester

In this role you will ensure our games meet quality and regulatory standards before release, partnering with developers and product teams to deliver reliable, engaging experiences. You will test functionality, usability, performance, and compliance across gaming products, identify and document defects, and support multiple projects to meet deadlines. The role sits onsite in Chadderton, emphasizing hands-on QA of hardware and software. You’ll help evolve testing approaches and QA processes while contributing to a culture focused on bold, collaborative quality.

• Execute functional, usability, performance and compliance testing across gaming products and software platforms
• Verify games meet product requirements, quality standards and regulatory expectations
• Identify, reproduce and document software defects clearly and accurately
• Track issues through resolution and support retesting activities
• Investigate and reproduce issues reported from the field and provide detailed findings
• Create, maintain and enhance test cases, test plans and test scripts
• Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure product stability
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting testing deadlines
• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality
• Contribute ideas to improve testing approaches, tools and QA processes
• Provide testing support across different Light & Wonder teams as required
• Complete additional testing activities assigned by Senior Testers and Test Leads

• Experience in software testing or quality assurance environments
• Understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes and software development lifecycles
• Experience executing functional, usability and performance testing
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to identify issues and communicate findings clearly and accurately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence working independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility and adaptability to support a variety of testing activities and priorities
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
• Ability to learn new products, systems and testing tools quickly
• Experience using TestRail and Jira
