Overview

In this role you will lead quality assurance and testing for strategic digital, data and technology projects within the DDaT team. You’ll collaborate with project managers, designers, business owners and suppliers to ensure clear, testable outputs and a smooth transition to operations. You will develop testing standards and coordinate business readiness, data and reporting validation, both during delivery and post-go-live reviews. The position offers impact by supporting mission-critical health tech initiatives and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead QA, testing, business readiness and post-go-live review activities across projects
  • Develop testing standards, templates and methods; create plans, scripts and reports
  • Coordinate testing with business users, SMEs and process owners; enable UAT and process validation
  • Manage defect logging, triage, tracking, retesting and reporting
  • Review requirements, designs and supplier outputs for testability and acceptance
  • Support go-live readiness, transition and governance documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, design leads, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Produce clear documentation and evidence for governance
  • Build testing capability across cross-functional teams
  • Chair test readiness reviews and communicate progress to senior stakeholders
Key requirements
  • Strong experience in test management, QA, UAT, business readiness or related roles
  • Experience developing test approaches, plans, schedules, scripts and reports
  • Experience coordinating users for UAT or business process testing
  • Defect lifecycle management experience
  • Experience with systems implementation, digital transformation or data projects
  • Ability to coordinate non-professional testers and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent test planning, coordination and organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality, structured documentation
