Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We're looking for an entry-level QA Engineer to join our Regression Testing team. You'll help validate application functionality across releases, execute automated and manual test suites, and collaborate closely with our functional testing and development teams to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain regression test suites (automated and manual) to validate application stability across releases
• Develop and update automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright (TypeScript)
• Perform manual regression testing using Kofax where automation isn't applicable
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data integrity
• Use Bruno for API testing and validation
• Log, track, and manage defects and test cases in ALM and JIRA
• Collaborate with the functional testing team on test coverage, using ALM, JIRA, and Confluence for documentation and cross-team alignment
• Support terminal emulation/legacy system testing via Reflection Workspace
• Assist with OCP (Open Container Platform) Validation testing
• Write basic scripts/utilities in Python to support test automation and data handling
• Develop within Eclipse and VS Code IDEs

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in QA, software testing, or a related internship/academic project background
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts and the software testing lifecycle (STLC)
• Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation queries
• Exposure to at least one scripting/programming language (Python preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying defects
• Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting test cases and collaborating cross-functionally
• Eagerness to learn new tools and testing frameworks
