Quality Assurance Engineer

Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established Manufacturing client of ours, based out of London, who are looking to take on a strong Integration Quality Engineer on a transformational project, as they look to migrate away from a legacy platform and rebuild their architecture from scratch.

The incoming contractor will need to been an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Engineer, with at least 7-8 years experience in the industry, and have specific expertise in end-to-end integration testing and be comfortable taking ownership of testing integration flows across the platform.

To be suitable for this position, the following expertise is required:

• Prior experience in Java driven Automation environments (7-8 years minimum)
• Strong Integration Testing experience, comfortable testing integration flows end to end
• Have a strong history of API Testing (Postman, REST) and a good understanding of RESTful architecture
• Must also have prior experience in Monitoring and Logging environments, specifically with expertise in Log Analysis
• Additional experience in CI/CD, Cloud (GCP) and Database driven environments is also required
• The incoming engineer must be comfortable in an individual contributor capacity, capable leading Quality, and proactively driving processes

This is a hybrid (3 days p/week) contract opening, inside IR35, for an initial 3 month period, and can offer £400-475 p/day for the suitable candidate.
