Quality Assurance Engineer

In this role you ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements across the product lifecycle within an AS9100-regulated environment. You’ll partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive quality planning, containment, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. The position focuses on assuring design and process quality, supporting NPI, and maintaining compliance and documentation. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape quality outcomes in aerospace/manufacturing.

• Generate and maintain Control Plans from engineering drawings, specs, and requirements
• Identify critical quality characteristics and inspection needs from drawings and docs
• Manage non-conformance process (containment, quarantine, investigation, disposition, closure)
• Lead RCCA activities using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis
• Participate in design and drawing reviews to embed quality requirements
• Support New Product Introduction by defining quality controls
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
• Support audits (internal, customer, third-party) and maintain AS9100 compliance
• Maintain quality documentation and records per requirements
