NEW 12-MONTH CONTRACT: QA Automation Engineer

I am partnering with one of the UK’s largest telecommunications and smart home brands to find a QA Automation Engineer for a long-term contract.

You’ll be joining a highly skilled Agile squad responsible for testing the embedded firmware inside next-generation connectivity hardware—including Broadband Smart Hubs, Wi-Fi mesh extenders, and 4G/5G hybrid modems used by millions of households.

What you need to hit the ground running:

Automation: Exceptional coding skills using Robot Framework and Python.

Hardware Testing: Proven experience testing embedded firmware, Wi-Fi routers, or CPE devices.

Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and Virtual Machines.

Networking: Understanding of Broadband/Gateway standards (FTTP, 4G/5G, IPv4/IPv6, etc.).

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Ipswich, UK (Hybrid)
