Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview
In this role you will drive quality governance and improvement across our aerospace fuel systems business. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and deliver robust quality data and audits. You will promote a culture of ownership for quality and support the transition to a new Daedalus facility. This is a chance to influence assurance processes at a Centre of Excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

- Manage monthly Quality Reviews and present KPIs for management reviews
- Raise, monitor, and verify CAPA/8D with stakeholders to drive RCCA
- Maintain company documentation and training materials, and deploy training
- Foster a strong quality culture across functions with the 'I Own Quality' initiative
- Conduct internal audits according to schedule
- Maintain and progress approvals (AS EN 9100, UK CAA Part 21 & 145)
- Develop the Business System per requirements and liaise with external stakeholders
- Support aero knowledge of AS/EN9100 and CAA Part 21 & 145; utilize Microsoft tools
- Aerospace engineering and regulatory knowledge (EASA/AS9100)
- Experience in a similar role advantageous
- Experience with PFMEA / 8D
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access; quick to learn business software
- Strong written and verbal communication
- HNC/Degree preferred; relevant experience considered
- Excellent IT skills; audit training (Lead Auditor preferred)
