Quality Assurance Lead

• Manage the test team's day-to-day activities and quality of work
• Own and drive the testing process and maintain tools and processes used by testers, including Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure work can be tested efficiently
• Develop testing plans and test cases for new features with embedded QA testers
• Oversee daily smoke tests and as-needed test runs, providing feedback to ensure test coverage
• Help with recruitment, onboarding, development, and professional training of the QA team
• Maintain internal communications and encourage a positive, ambitious team atmosphere
• Foster cross-department relationships, collaboration, and studio-wide objectives
• Drive a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and growth

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional video game QA experience
• Professional experience as a QA Lead, supervising testers on a shipped game
• A strong and efficient communicator with excellent management skills
• Experience testing on multiple platforms, including Sony and/or Microsoft consoles and PC
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative-taking
• Current Ontario or Quebec resident or willing to relocate to Ontario
• Ability to briefly work on-site in Toronto is required
