Quality Assurance Lead

As Quality Assurance Lead you will drive high standards of practice for children, young people and families across Suffolk. You will lead evaluative quality assurance work, analyse feedback, and support service improvements through collaboration with multi‑agency partners. The role combines analytical insight, advisory support and stakeholder engagement to ensure safeguarding, policy compliance and continuous professional growth. • Lead quality assurance evaluations and reviews across the system (Family Help) and identify development areas
• Develop and implement Group Supervision across services; support and embed Family Group Decision Making
• Engage with children, families and professionals to inform QA activities
• Provide expert guidance and constructive challenge to colleagues and partners to improve outcomes
• Design and facilitate development workshops, reflective sessions and coaching
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to share best practice and enable multi‑agency working
• Prepare and present analytical reports on service quality; highlight strengths and improvements
• Monitor legislative and policy developments to ensure practice remains compliant
• Support safeguarding and risk management to promote child welfare
• Manage own workload with autonomy and respond to shifting priorities
• Contribute to ongoing service improvement and quality enhancements

• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area
• Experience in quality assurance in Children and Young People’s Services or transferrable sector experience
• Management/leadership experience and/or qualification (desirable)
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory frameworks
• Analytical/forensic approach to work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
