Overview

As Head of Quality Assurance, you will lead the QA strategy across products and releases, embedding a risk-based, shift-left quality culture. You’ll define standards, design robust test plans, and drive end-to-end testing across web, mobile and API platforms. You will champion automation and AI-assisted testing to speed up delivery while ensuring high quality. You’ll collaborate with engineering, DevOps and product teams to enable release readiness and measurable quality improvements. This is an opportunity to shape QA at a growing wealth-management group and impact product usability, performance and resilience.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the QA approach and automation strategy aligned to delivery priorities
  • Champion a risk-based, shift-left quality culture and ensure early test planning
  • Establish QA standards, design practices, automation principles and governance
  • Provide recommendations on test scope, residual risk and release readiness
  • Lead analysis of requirements and designs; participate in agile ceremonies
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and end-to-end traceability
  • Direct hands-on execution of system, integration, regression and exploratory testing
  • Own the automation strategy; build and scale the framework and coverage
  • Embed AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate testing with responsible review
  • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD and report quality metrics
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching and QA process improvements
  • Produce concise test status reports and maintain auditable documentation
Key requirements
  • 7+ years in software quality assurance with hands-on manual and automated testing
  • Strong test automation background with framework design and scaling experience
  • Experience using AI-assisted testing tools for test generation, data and triage
  • Proven leadership of QA activities across complex products or multiple deliveries
  • Coaching of QA engineers and influence without direct line-management
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency with test-management and defect-tracking tools
