Quality Assurance Tester (Manual)

Work Location: HCLTech Vancouver office - Downtown Vancouver, BC (5 days at office setting - without exception)

Annual compensation is CAD 55,000 per year plus benefits

4+ years of experience in the manual testing with mobile and web applications.

Responsibilities

• - Review bugs/tasks from offshore testers before they get assigned to developers
• - Follow up on high-priority and blocking issues.
• - File high signal tasks that can be assigned directly to developers - Work very effectively with QA lead and rest of the QA team
• - Follow up on important incremental changes and get it covered
• - Provide weekly reports on tasks executed

Qualifications

• - Experience in the testing domain
• - Familiarity with testing life cycle processes, test case planning, test case designing and test execution
• - Experimented in mobile application testing
• - Expertise in end-to-end sanity, regression, smoke, and new feature testing
• - Experience in test results and bug analysis
• - Experience working in teams with offshore

onsite model

• - Expertise in various defect management and test case management tools like Jira, Quality Center, TestRail, Bugzilla, etc., etc. Good communication and reporting skills
