Quality Automation Engineer - Leeds

In this Quality Engineer role, you will drive modern quality practices across client projects within Accenture Software & Platform Engineering. You’ll work hands-on to define and execute automated testing strategies while also guiding others in quality initiatives. The role blends engineering excellence with collaboration across diverse teams, leveraging cutting‑edge AI tools to accelerate delivery. You’ll contribute to internal communities and help shape scalable, low‑complexity solutions at scale.

• Define and implement modern Quality Engineering concepts including automated testing
• Hands-on development in at least one OO language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, etc)
• Lead and mentor teammates to deliver quality outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software delivery and quality
• Contribute to internal and regional Quality Engineering communities
• Apply GenAI tools (e.g., Playwright with MCP) to enhance testing and development workflows
• Adopt AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and explore LangChain or LangGraph
• Adapt to diverse client domains and stacks to maximize value and minimize complexity

• Several years defining and implementing modern Quality Engineering concepts including automated testing
• Experience with at least one object oriented programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, etc)
• Hands-on with GenAI (e.g., Playwright with MCP)
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)
• Knowledge of LangChain or LangGraph; cloud environments is a plus
• Strong collaboration and ability to work egoless across experience levels
