Overview

In this role, you will design and run automated and performance tests to ensure high-quality software for healthcare education products. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to align testing with requirements and business goals, while driving continuous improvement across the organization. You will tackle performance issues and expand testing capabilities through tool adoption. This is a hands-on position at scale, focused on delivering reliable solutions that support students and clinicians. You’ll work in a team that values trust, collaboration, and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute automated and performance tests to enable timely delivery of high-quality software
  • Plan testing with Product, Project, Engineering, and Operations teams to meet requirements and quality standards
  • Collaborate with QA/Testing staff, project managers, and technical leads to plan and run automated tests
  • Report issues and investigate root causes, documenting results
  • Research and evaluate tools to enhance testing capabilities and product quality
  • Identify performance root causes with architects, developers, and system engineers
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and best practices
  • Work across teams to advance QA/testing and automate testing across the business
Key requirements
  • 3+ years in Quality Engineering or similar testing role
  • Strong hands-on test automation experience
  • Proven experience testing backend applications and services
  • Solid API and integration testing experience, including automated API tests
  • Experience designing and executing end-to-end automated tests
  • Good programming or scripting skills (Java preferred; Python/JavaScript/TypeScript/C# or PHP acceptable)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks; Playwright is advantageous; Cucumber or similar frameworks welcomed
