Overview

In this role you will enhance the research framework by building Python tools, collaborating with on-site researchers, and improving the simulation/backtest infrastructure. You will monitor and support quantitative research jobs and contribute to EMEA research efforts. The position sits within a fast-paced, globally distributed team focused on advancing trading strategies. This is an opportunity to shape tooling and workflows for high-performance research in a leading prop trader environment.

Responsibilities
  • Iterate with on-site researchers to improve desk trading strategies and P&L
  • Develop Python tools used in trading strategies research
  • Improve the existing simulation/backtest framework
  • Monitor and maintain quantitative research jobs
  • Support the global research team on EMEA-related research via multiple channels
Key requirements
  • Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Excellent Python knowledge and libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Polars)
  • Production-level Python experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, distributed environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • Experience with workflow management and task scheduling
  • C++, scripting (Bash) and/or financial markets experience preferred but not required
