Overview

In this role you will build and maintain the C++-based, low-latency trading infrastructure for a systematic macro team. You will work closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager to support live trading across Futures, FX, and Fixed Income, from data ingestion to execution. You’ll productionise signal computation, support research infrastructure, and coordinate with central tech teams to leverage shared services. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape real-time trading systems in a fast-paced, production-facing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build latency-sensitive C++ trading systems from market data ingestion to order execution
  • Productionise performance-critical signal computation within trading systems
  • Develop supporting research infrastructure including replay and data management
  • Support execution workflows across systematic strategies in Futures, FX, and Fixed Income
  • Specify infrastructure requirements to central technology teams and collaborate on delivery
  • Partner with technology teams to leverage shared platforms for execution, risk, PM, data, and monitoring
  • Implement and maintain team-level trading controls and ensure integration with the firm-wide control framework
Key requirements
  • 5+ years building production systems in electronic trading (futures, FX, or fixed income)
  • Strong C++ in a performance-critical, low-latency context
  • Experience building production trading systems and market-data/order-entry components
  • Deep understanding of concurrent, real-time systems design
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals (testing, version control, code quality)
  • Strong Linux development experience
  • Familiarity with monitoring, controls, and production support in a front-office setting is advantageous
  • Experience with shared internal services, APIs, or platform infrastructure is highly valuable
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative approach
