Overview

In this role you will develop and refine automated market making strategies to provide liquidity across crypto exchanges. You will collaborate with senior traders, quants, and engineers in a fast-moving, 24/7 market. The position sits at the intersection of trading, data, and technology, offering ownership of strategy development and live troubleshooting. You’ll leverage data-driven analysis to improve execution quality and desk performance, with a clear impact on liquidity and profitability. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow into a full quantitative trader within a globally expanding crypto firm.

Responsibilities
  • Research and develop market making strategies across CEX and DEX order books and AMMs
  • Monitor automated strategies across multiple exchanges and pairs, flag issues and escalate when needed
  • Learn and adjust strategy parameters (spreads, quote sizes, inventory, risk limits) under senior guidance
  • Troubleshoot live trading issues with traders and engineers
  • Run post-trade analysis on execution quality, fill rates, inventory and profitability
  • Write Python and SQL queries to pull, clean and analyze trading and order book data
  • Backtest and research strategy improvements alongside traders and quantitative developers
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking KPIs (uptime, spread, depth, volume, P&L)
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline monitoring and reporting
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance desk performance
  • Prepare performance reports for client strategies and contribute to market color for stakeholders
Key requirements
  • 2–4 years in trading, quantitative analysis, data analysis or related field
  • Experience with Python and/or SQL; Rust exposure a plus
  • Comfort with AI tools, data visualization, and automation to improve workflows
  • Strong data-driven mindset and eagerness to learn
