Overview

In this role you will help build data-driven solutions for clinical operations, collaborating with clinical trial teams to turn data needs into actionable products. You will work on analytics, visualization, and accessible data tools, including Shiny applications, to improve trial efficiency. You’ll contribute to cross-departmental data practices and validate data products with Clinical Trial Managers. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape enterprise and study-level solutions within a mission-driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess data needs for specific studies and define strategic approaches
  • Develop innovative data products, primarily Shiny apps, with Clinical Ops input
  • Contribute to internal R package development to streamline cross-department programming
  • Query, wrangle, analyze, and report on relational data at study and enterprise levels
  • Design algorithms to describe, classify, and predict operational outcomes in clinical trials
  • Support process improvement initiatives across departments
Key requirements
  • Bachelor degree in informatics, computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, or related field
  • Analytical thinker with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a sprint schedule
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Programming experience in R
  • Work experience with clinical data
  • Experience building web applications (Shiny or Streamlit) preferred
  • Experience building dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire) preferred
