Breast Imaging Radiologist Location: Rochester, New YorkOutpatient Only No Call No Weekends Position Overview
  • Focus: Screening and diagnostic breast imaging
  • Setting: On-site or hybrid (outpatient only)
  • Schedule Options:
    • Part-time: 2-3 days/week
    • Full-time: 4 days/week
  • No call
  • No weekends
  • Possible sign on bonus + relocation assistance
  • Team of 7 experienced breast imaging radiologists
  • W2 only (no 1099)
  • Open to 2026 and 2027 candidates!
  • No visa sponsorship
Clinical Volume (Predictable & Manageable)
  • Screening Mammography: 80/day
  • Diagnostic Mammography: 14/day
  • Screening Ultrasound: 20/day (performed by sonographers)
  • Breast MRI: Up to 5/day
Technology & Services
  • PACS: Sectra
  • EMR/RIS: Custom-built system with in-house programmer
  • In-house medical outcomes & research staff
Modalities Include:
  • Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT)
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Breast MRI
  • Biopsy Procedures
  • Genetic Counseling / High-Risk Department
  • Bone Densitometry
Exceptional Physician Support
  • Dedicated medical assistant per radiologist
  • Studies prepped and hung in advance
  • Prior imaging and reports retrieved
  • Minimal dictation (templated/canned reports selected by support staff)

Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
  • Expertise in mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and biopsies
  • Strong communicator, collaborative mindset
