The facility is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to be part of a collaborative team comprising 3 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). With a focus on hospital-based IR services, this role offers a day-shift schedule alongside Q3 call coverage. The practice setting is supportive, equipped with experienced staff facilitating a robust and dynamic work environment.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide hospital-based Interventional Radiology services.
- Manage call coverage, including Q3 weekday and weekend rotations.
- Conduct essential procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, and thrombolysis.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure optimized patient care.
- Engage in documentation and case management using the designated EMR system.
- Participate in training and orienting new staff as needed.
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED).
- Active State Medical License in Michigan (REQUIRED).
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED).
- Local providers preferred; travel providers must commit to 2+ weeks of coverage.
- Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
- Recent NPDB self-query (within 30 days of presentation) (REQUIRED).
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology: REQUIRED
- Active Michigan State Medical License: REQUIRED
- BLS Certification: REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification: REQUIRED
