Position: Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist (IR + General Diagnostic)

EMR: Cerner

Start Date: ASAP April 1, 2027

Credentialing Timeline: 90 Days

Schedule & Shift Details
  • Coverage Type: Daily Procedural & Diagnostic Coverage (Clinic/Hospital No Call Required)
  • Shift Times: Monday Friday (7:30 AM 3:30 PM)
Clinical Scope & Procedures
  • Vascular & Non-Vascular IR: Embolizations (trauma, GI bleeds), angiograms, thrombolysis, IVC filter placements and removals
  • Urgent & Emergency IR: Trauma embolizations (splenic, hepatic, pelvic), nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and abscess drainages
  • Diagnostic Workload: Preference given to candidates capable of reading diagnostic radiology cases between procedural downtime
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • Licensure: Valid, unrestricted Michigan State Medical License & Active DEA
  • Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
