Radiology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional RadiologyPhysician for a locum tenens opportunity at a Level I trauma center in Lansing,MI. This hospital-based position offers a weekday schedule with a rotating callrequirement every third weekday and weekend. The ideal candidate will beexperienced in a broad range of interventional radiology procedures, withadditional experience in orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic cases preferred.

Schedule& Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend
• Call: Every third weekday and weekend (Q3 rotation)
• Call Ratio: 1:3 among Interventional Radiologists
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based
• Trauma Level: Level I
• Average Volume: Approximately 8 cases per day
• EMR: Not specified

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE).
• Provide procedural support for orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic cases.
• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate image-guided treatment plans.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage post-procedure care.
• Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active Michigan medical license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
