Practice Highlights
Approximately 80-90% Diagnostic Radiology and 10-20% Interventional Radiology
Hospital-based setting with academic affiliation opportunities
Approximately six months of coverage needed

Diagnostic Radiology Responsibilities
General radiology and plain film interpretation
Fluoroscopy and GI studies
Ultrasound, including abdominal, pelvic, thyroid, Doppler, and biopsy procedures
CT, including CTA, biopsies, and drainage procedures
MRI, including musculoskeletal and neuro imaging
PET and Nuclear Medicine studies
Bone density and advanced imaging procedures
Interventional Radiology responsibilities
Diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions
Angiography, angioplasty, and stenting
Thrombolytic and embolization therapies
Vascular access procedures and IVC filter placement
TIPS procedures
Percutaneous biopsies and drainage procedures
Thoracentesis and paracentesis
Arthrograms, vertebroplasty, blood patches, and joint/epidural injections
