Assignment Details
• Start/end: As soon as credentialed; ongoing
• Schedule: 2-3 days/week, 8am-4pm; 2-4 weeks/month
• Coverage type: On-site Breast Imaging; no call
• Volume: 40-50 patients/shift
• Setting: Outpatient Breast Radiology
• Support: Technologists, nurses, surgeons and oncology teams
• PACS: Change Healthcare; transitioning to Sectra
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 90 days; no temporary privileges
Clinical Details
• Required scope: Screening and diagnostic mammography
• Required scope: Breast ultrasound and breast MRI
• Required scope: Image-guided biopsies, localizations and aspirations
• Screening mammography: 45-55% of workload; 35-40 per shift
• Diagnostics: 25-35% of workload
• Procedures: 15-25% of workload
• Strong knowledge of BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
• Must be comfortable with same-day diagnostic workups and direct patient communication
Requirements
• Board certified Radiologist
• Breast Imaging fellowship training required
• License: Active MI license required
• BLS
• Local candidates only
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
