RBC Software Developer Intern

Build an innovative prototype with RBC Amplify in Calgary, applying programming knowledge and critical thinking within a flexible summer program.

As a Developer Intern, you will tackle real RBC business challenges within a cross-functional team. You will research, design, create, and deliver a functional prototype while developing teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Training covers design thinking, Agile development, and other tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Immerse yourself in a business challenge through intensive collaboration
• Research, design, create, and deliver a functional prototype
• Work with industry-standard technologies and subject matter experts
• Present project strategy and communications to executive stakeholders
• Engage in training covering design thinking and Agile development

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies, graduating August 2027 to June 2028
• Understand programming languages, databases, frameworks, and web technologies
• Understand Agile methodologies and processes
• Demonstrate communication, teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Experience with cloud, mobile, DevOps, full-stack, or API technologies

Develop RBC solutions through programming, collaboration, prototype delivery, and stakeholder presentations during Amplify’s Calgary summer program.
