R&D Technical Development Lead

This Development Lead, R&D role supports concept, research, development, new product introduction, and production improvement. You will work across disciplines, contributing technical direction from product definition through factory deployment. The position suits an experienced product or systems development professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with product line management during initial product definition
• Coordinate front-end research programs, prototypes, evaluations, and reports
• Develop requirements, specifications, and test plans
• Manage R&D schedules and provide resourcing input
• Support gate reviews, technical reviews, escalations, and factory deployment

Requirements:

• Physics, engineering physics, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree
• Optics experience required for mechanical or electrical engineering degrees
• Five or more years in new product development
• Proven product or systems development background
• Strong communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills
