Overview
In this role you will be a hands-on React Native engineer within a fast-growing fintech, shaping the mobile platform for iOS and Android. You collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver a seamless, user-centric SaaS mobile experience and drive performance, reliability, and scalability. You’ll work with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, perform testing and reviews, and ensure pixel-perfect UI in a fast-paced, agile environment. This is an opportunity to influence product-wide mobile improvements and contribute to a high-impact digital platform.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and implement new features in the React Native mobile app for iOS and Android
- Optimize app performance, reliability and responsiveness across devices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend engineers
- Conduct testing, debugging and code reviews to ensure stability
- Implement pixel-perfect UI with designers for best user experience
- Participate in agile processes (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into maintainable code
- 3+ years of mobile development experience in React Native (iOS and Android)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and mobile development frameworks
- Knowledge of mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with RESTful API integration and backend collaboration
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps and writing clean code
- Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
