Recalculation Officer

The Opportunity:

In this position you will:

• Analyze applications to determine eligibility for child support calculation and recalculation services.
• Interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and policy to complex or ambiguous situations.
• Conduct thorough income assessments with clients and third parties while navigating complex or sensitive situations.
• Prepare accurate child support decisions in accordance with legislation and policy.
• Provide information and connect parents with supports or referrals.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in a respectful, client-focused approach.

Your knowledge and relevant experience of legal and court processes related to child support, investigative techniques in locating clients and verifying personal or financial information, while using known conflict resolution theories relevant to client service in challenging situations and dynamics will guide your work in complex and emotionally charged circumstances. Relevant experience in accounting principles will be required.
