Recycling Compositional Assessment Auditor

Perform Blue Box material assessments in Brampton using sorting, weighing, data entry, and analysis skills. This permanent, full-time position works weekday afternoons and evenings.

The Recycling Auditor supports RLG’s compositional auditing program at the Warehouse department. You will sort and weigh materials by type under Ontario Regulation 391/21, maintain audit equipment, and manage related data. The work also includes receiving samples, shipping supplies, and supporting safe, consistent operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and weigh Blue Box materials by type
• Follow RLG, industry, and health safety protocols
• Maintain equipment for accurate audit data
• Enter and analyze Blue Box composition data
• Recommend process changes to mitigate identified risks

Requirements:

• One-plus years in waste management or compositional assessment considered an asset
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office understanding
• Ability to work independently and within teams
