Red Team Operator Cybersecurity Expert

Lead realistic adversary emulation for Mercedes-Benz Canada, applying kill-chain operations across IT, OT, and cloud environments.

As a Red Team Operator, you will test company systems and networks while working with detection engineering and incident response teams. Your work covers Windows Active Directory, Windows, macOS, Linux or Unix, cloud platforms, containers, and OT environments. You will also apply agents and large language models to develop tooling and execute attacks during engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support full kill-chain Red Team engagements
• Partner with detection engineering and incident response teams
• Deliver technical debriefs explaining exploitation impact
• Research evasion techniques, EDR internals, and emerging exploitation methods
• Build infrastructure, tooling, and automation for exploitation workflows

Requirements:

• Post-secondary cybersecurity degree or equivalent experience
• Three to six-plus years in red or purple teams
• Deep Windows Active Directory exploitation and lateral movement knowledge
• Working fluency across Windows, macOS, and Linux or Unix internals
• Cloud platform and OT environment experience
