Regulatory Reporting Controller Toronto

Lead Canadian regulatory reporting at Morgan Stanley in Toronto through advanced finance expertise, CIRO filings, and a hybrid work environment.

This Director-level Controller role supports Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting. You will lead regulatory reporting for Canadian member firm entities, strengthen controls, and support regulatory change. The work spans IFRS, regulatory capital, reconciliations, audits, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accurate, complete, and timely CIRO regulatory filings
• Support regulatory and statutory audits with evidence preparation
• Implement regulatory, accounting, and business reporting requirements
• Resolve reporting and control issues with cross-functional stakeholders
• Improve governance, documentation, data quality, and automation

Requirements:

• CPA Canada or equivalent designation
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting rules
• Experience with Canadian regulatory capital filings
• Understanding of reporting controls, reconciliations, and auditability
• At least six years of relevant experience generally expected
