Relationship Manager, AVP

The Relationship Manager (RM) position is responsible for the equity compensation relationship within the Wealth Management Client Segments division. They are responsible for partnering with a clients key administrative contacts (Directors and Managers of Stock Plan Administration teams). They must possess a strong working knowledge of equity compensation and relationship management. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction of the client and will be instrumental in ensuring that the plan is utilizing the various components of our offering to enhance the participant experience.
Service delivery within the corporate client expands beyond the primary administrative contacts. A successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, proven problem-solving skills, a strong knowledge of equity compensation and stock plans, and a focus on the challenges that face todays administrators.

Regular contact with clients to maintain a high level of personal interaction
Monitoring client satisfaction through internal benchmarks, surveys and RM check-ins
Promoting and sharing efficiencies and best practices to improve service and execution
Coordinating new projects with clients and internal teams
Engaging with various Morgan Stanley service support organizations to ensure strong execution of service delivery
Bachelor’s degree required along with 5-10 years of industry experience
A strong understanding of the executive compensation and stock plan industries
Some travel will be required
Organizational skills to track and maintain multiple projects
Demonstrates the ability to build a clear case for complex or difficult decisions and effectively present recommendations to management.
Ability to identify issues and clearly articulate concerns, both verbally and in writing, enabling effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution.
Certified Equity Professional designation
A strong working knowledge of MS office products.
