Relationship Manager, Commercial Financing

• Grow a loan portfolio and manage relationships with entrepreneurs in the agribusiness and food and beverage market
• Understand customer operations and business goals
• Tailor financing solutions and advisory support to help customers succeed
• Deliver financing solutions for customers
• Manage lending, credit, and portfolio activities
• Build relationships and grow the portfolio
• Assess customer operations and financial performance
• Work closely with other FCC departments

Requirements

• A degree in agriculture, business, commerce, finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, relationship management and business development (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience managing a commercial loan portfolio
• Experience communicating financial information or recommendations clearly to customers or internal partners
• Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships, including engaging with customers, centres of influence or community partners
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for customer meetings
• Knowledge of the broader ag-food value chain
• Knowledge of commercial financing, risk assessment, and credit adjudication
