  • The candidate will be responsible for delivering value-added financial advice and solutions tailored to clients.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leveraging sales enabling tools, including sales planning, prospecting, and pre-call planning tools.
  • The candidate will be responsible for applying a continuous-improvement approach to delivering a superior client experience.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing a needs-based sales strategy for all clients and prospects to grow revenue, deepen client relationships, and achieve a high standard of client loyalty.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending, along with previous banking experience in a relationship management role.
  • The candidate must hold a post-secondary diploma or degree, ideally in commerce or business administration, or have related experience.
  • The candidate will be required to show proven success in business development, especially in new client acquisition and prospecting.
  • The candidate must have experience in financial statement review, computer modeling, and analysis.
  • The candidate will be required to demonstrate familiarity with technologies such as web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
  • The candidate must have a passion for providing quality advice and fulfilling client needs.
  • The candidate must have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • The candidate must have an entrepreneurial attitude and self-motivation to achieve above average results.
  • The candidate must be a continuous learner with a deep curiosity for understanding diverse customers and staying up-to-date with changes in client needs, procedures, and relevant products.
