Remote AI Infrastructure Backend Developer

Build AI infrastructure remotely with Python, Go, APIs, and scalable server-side systems as an hourly contractor for Alignerr. Set your own schedule.

Alignerr seeks Back End Developers to support AI products through data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, and scalable microservices. You will design services, optimize performance, and collaborate asynchronously with distributed engineers, researchers, and product leads. Work independently on task-based and project-based assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain back end services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Build architecture supporting AI training and inference workloads
• Integrate databases, message queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct code reviews
• Contribute to architectural decisions and optimize system scalability

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, Node.js, Rust, or similar
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Comfort with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
