Remote in Canada, this Data Analyst role centers on SQL and Power BI. Turn financial services data into accurate, timely reporting.

This permanent, full-time position supports investment and wealth management functions. You will partner with stakeholders, BI teams, and technology partners. Your work will produce reliable metrics, clean datasets, and actionable insights through SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business questions into analysis plans and reporting requirements
  • Analyze, validate, and reconcile data across multiple sources
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring reports
  • Document metric logic, definitions, calculations, and assumptions
  • Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and data quality issues

Requirements:

  • Five or more years in analytics or Data Analyst roles
  • Financial services, investment, or wealth management experience preferred
  • Strong SQL and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Power BI dashboard, report, and measure development experience
  • Independent remote work and sensitive data handling experience
