Remote-First Backend Engineer, Control Plane

Tailscale is a fully remote company seeking a Software Engineer to join the Control Plane Team. You will work on core product components, contribute to open source client code and backend services, and own features from design to delivery.

Collaborating with UX/UI designers and product managers, you will help move the product forward in a startup environment, with emphasis on observability, security, and reliability across distributed systems.
