Remote Part Time Financial Controller

Lead accounting operations remotely as a part-time Financial Controller, applying financial reporting expertise and Canadian GAAP or IFRS knowledge. Support accurate decision-making through disciplined financial management.

Areix seeks a highly skilled, detail-oriented Financial Controller to manage accounting and financial reporting functions. You will oversee ledgers, payables, receivables, payroll, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and planning. The work supports financial information integrity and compliance with Canadian regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and tax compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor cash flow, performance, and key financial metrics
• Coordinate audits and liaise with advisors and regulators

Requirements:

• Highly skilled, detail-oriented financial leadership experience
• Knowledge of Canadian GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to develop and enforce internal controls
• Experience providing insights to senior leadership
• Ability to lead and mentor an accounting team
