Remote Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer - Authorization

GitLab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Authorization team to own parts of the permission model across GitLab.com, Self-Managed, and Dedicated. You will work on fine‑grained token permissions, custom roles, and the policy layer, moving toward a shared authorization platform with a Rust engine and Cedar policies.

You will design, implement, and ship changes in a Rails monolith with a modern, scalable authorization stack, collaborating with authentication, AI, and modular services
