Remote Software Developer Java AWS

Build Java and AWS solutions remotely with Fidelity as a Software Developer supporting internal applications and new financial services. Canada work authorization is required.

Fidelity seeks a Software Developer who translates complex business problems into practical technical solutions. You will maintain applications, develop products, and collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and agile project managers. The work supports Fidelity’s position within the Mutual Fund Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define business requirements with stakeholders and agile project managers
• Map end-to-end solutions for scrum projects
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain application code
• Program applications for internal user groups
• Support internal-facing applications within the Information Systems team

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science
• Minimum one to two-plus years of software development experience
• Knowledge of Java, Angular JS, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Good SQL or Oracle database knowledge
• Hands-on AWS and CI/CD pipeline experience
