Remote Software Developer Java AWS

Fidelity seeks a remote Software Developer skilled in Java, AWS, and application solutions for Canadian investment services. Current Canadian work authorization is required.

This Software Developer translates complex business problems into practical technical solutions. You will maintain internal applications and develop products and services. The work includes Java, Angular JS, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define business requirements with stakeholders and agile project managers
• Map end-to-end solutions for scrum projects
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain application code
• Program applications for internal user groups
• Deliver internal applications supporting Fidelity’s mutual fund business

Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science
• Minimum one to two years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of listed internet programming languages
• Good SQL or Oracle database knowledge
• Hands-on AWS and CI/CD experience
