Research Computing Platforms Manager

In this leadership role you will steer the design, implementation and optimisation of cutting-edge research data storage and compute services. You will work within a high-calibre team to deliver scalable HPC infrastructure using GPUs, large-scale storage and cloud platforms to support ground-breaking science. You will collaborate across teams, articulate complex concepts to non-specialists, and represent the organisation in national and international contexts. You will shape the technology roadmap, drive continuous improvement, and lead training and capability building to empower scientific discovery.

• Lead design, implementation and optimisation of research data storage and compute services
• Manage complex services and oversee high-impact projects critical to the mission
• Act as Deputy Head when needed; guide day-to-day operations and long-term planning
• Shape the future of research computing platforms and drive innovation
• Lead Hybrid-Cloud HPC initiatives and implement robust data security practices
• Represent the organisation at national and international levels and foster collaborations
• Deliver training programs and contribute to technology roadmap and strategy
