Residential Underwriter

In this role you will underwrite residential and some commercial risks, assessing risk within your authority and making informed decisions. You will build and maintain relationships with clients, solicitors and brokers to support risk selection and service delivery. You’ll contribute to the development of residential products and participate in wider business initiatives. Training in underwriting and product knowledge will be provided. This is a London-based, hybrid opportunity with growth potential and a focus on effective risk management.

• Underwrite residential and commercial risks within authority
• Assess and manage risk within approved limits
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, solicitors and brokers
• Support development of residential products and broader business initiatives
• Participate in underwriting and product training provided by the company

• Experience in residential property transactions or equivalent (Underwriter, Solicitor, Legal Executive, Conveyancer or Fee Earner)
• Strong background in underwriting and risk assessment
• Ability to build relationships with clients, solicitors and brokers
