Resilience and Continuity – Technology Lead

In this role, you drive strategic resilience across Bloomberg’s Engineering and disaster recovery programs, ensuring continuity amid disruptions. You collaborate with global teams within Bloomberg Security Operations to align BC/DR priorities with technology operations. You’ll lead testing, advise on technical solutions, and promote industry best practices to strengthen enterprise resilience. This position offers impact across a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a clear mission to safeguard critical operations.

• Drive BCM program engagement with Engineering to align DR strategies with BC planning
• Provide BC/DR technical guidance to support Engineering in maintaining operational resilience
• Lead adoption and implementation of industry best practices in BC and operational resilience
• Lead BC testing and exercising efforts with technical stakeholders
• Support development and review of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and recovery strategy documents
• Collaborate with SMEs in Engineering, Chief Risk Office, Legal & Compliance, Operational Resilience, and other domains
• Collaborate with internal support and operations teams to identify threats and risks impacting operations

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years in business continuity, disaster recovery, and/or operational risk
• Experience across BC and DR with strong technical understanding
• Experience coordinating/testing BC/DR/operational resilience in technical domains
• Global organization experience implementing standards, policies, procedures
• Knowledge of Operational Resilience regulations globally
• Strong relationship management and partnership skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Strong project management, problem solving, and facilitation skills
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects
