RESL Finance Planning Manager

Lead RESL financial planning and forecasting at Scotiabank in Toronto, using analytical skills to support Canadian Banking business decisions.

As Manager, RESL Finance, you will support the Real Estate Secured Lending Finance Team and report to the Director, Finance. Your work will cover balance sheet, revenue, Net Interest Margin, expenses, FTE management, and strategic analysis. You will support SMA, HFS, and MOSE business units across planning cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quarterly forecasts, profit plans, and stress testing
• Coordinate data collection, assumptions, commentary, and stakeholder deliverables
• Manage SMA, HFS, and MOSE expenses and FTE forecasts
• Analyze portfolio, balance sheet, NII, NIM, PCL, and expenses
• Maintain planning, reporting, controls, and process documentation

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant experience
• MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
• Strong quantitative, analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Hyperion, OBI, and analytical tools
• Understanding of Canadian Banking and mortgage products
