Restructuring Associate- Finance

We are working with our best client in finance to help them find someone with experience in restructuring and turnaround. This is a new role and it is slated to become it's own department with future hires. The company is strong and successful and is enjoyed a well-planned growth period.

Responsibilities

• Analyze distressed, underperforming, and special situation investments
• Perform financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit assessments
• Evaluate restructuring alternatives and develop recommendations for senior leadership
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities
• Participate in negotiations, workouts, and restructuring processes when applicable
• Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, and financial reporting materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and business partners
• Support strategic projects and initiatives related to portfolio optimization and risk management

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3 to 7 years of experience in restructuring/IB/PE
• • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• • Ability to interpret complex financial and operational information
• • Excellent communication and presentation skills
• • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred:

• Restructuring or turnaround consulting
• Transaction advisory services
• Credit or investment analysis
• Special situations investing
• Corporate workout or asset recovery functions
• Financial due diligence
