Retail Banking Functional Business Analyst

Shape retail banking transformation at Accenture through requirements analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and SQL validation across enterprise platforms. This role supports Canadian delivery teams.

As a Functional Business Analyst, you will support change initiatives spanning retail banking and retail investment platforms. You will define requirements with product, operations, compliance, and technology teams. Your work covers accounts, mutual funds, GICs, registered plans, and mainframe-backed solutions across delivery lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements through workshops, interviews, and process reviews
• Write BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Define account, transaction, fee, statement, and tax requirements
• Analyze mainframe, interface, API, and downstream impacts
• Support UAT, defect triage, and go-live readiness

Requirements:

• Five to eight-plus years as a Functional or Business Analyst
• Canadian retail banking or retail investment experience
• Knowledge of GICs, mutual funds, and registered accounts
• SQL, Jira, Confluence, BPMN, UML, or Visio proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree or related college program completion
