Retail Cash Operations Supervisor

Manage retail cash operations through financial analysis, scheduling, and loss prevention at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. Flexible shifts include nights and weekends.

As Cash Manager, you oversee the Cash Department’s human, physical, and financial resources. You ensure cashiers follow Store Standards, scanning practices, lottery policies, and loss prevention procedures. The position also supports banking, coin orders, cash variance investigations, and weekly reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cash office and safe according to Store Standards
• Resolve discrepancies involving cash and coin orders
• Print and investigate weekly cash variance reports
• Ensure lottery trays meet legislative policy requirements
• Perform clerical and banking duties for the department

Requirements:

• Experience with retail or grocery cash handling
• Financial analysis ability and efficient time management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organization and planning skills
• Ability to act on management’s tasks and goals
