Retail Security Lead Product Protection

Protect SportChek merchandise through retail security, LP tagging, and high-value product controls. This full-time assignment supports awareness across the sales floor.

The Store Loss Prevention Lead reports to the Store General Manager and leads efforts reducing internal and external loss. You will remain present at the front of store and in departments during high-risk hours. The position requires product security, incident logging, and coordination with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-value products remain locked within the store
• Follow LP tagging standards for merchandise protection
• Maintain awareness across sales floor departments
• Acknowledge customers throughout the store
• Liaise with Regional Loss Prevention Manager about incidents

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience of six months considered an asset
• Loss Prevention Officer or in-store security experience considered an asset
• Previous employee training and mentoring experience
• Computer literacy considered an asset
• Provincially valid Security Guard or Investigator License considered an asset
