Rheumatology Opening in Kennewick, WA Spokane 140mFull-time, PermanentWe are seeking a board-certified Rheumatology Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Washington State. This position is ideal for a physician with fellowship training in rheumatology who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with rheumatologic conditions.

• The physician will evaluate and manage patients with a variety of rheumatologic disorders, perform joint aspirations and injections, and collaborate with clinical and administrative support staff to deliver effective outpatient care.

• Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per shift

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform arthrocentesis and other diagnostic or therapeutic joint aspirations as clinically indicated.
• Administer joint and soft tissue injections.
• Manage ongoing patient care and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical assistant, and administrative staff to support efficient patient care.
• Adhere to applicable clinical standards, professional guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Board certification in the appropriate specialty.
• Completion of an accredited rheumatology fellowship.
• Active Washington medical license or eligibility to practice through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), subject to applicable requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in outpatient rheumatology.
• Proficiency in arthrocentesis and joint or soft tissue injections.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required hospital privileges.
